PERFORMANCE ADVANTAGES
Good heat resistance
Within the usage temperature of the polyethylene plastic pipe, when the general temperature increases 10?, the strength decreases by about 10%; the experimental result shows that when the temperature increases 10?, the strength of steel frame polyethylene plastic composite pipe decreases by 5% or below;
Good creep resistance
The steel frame effectively restrains creep of the plastic, the durability of the pipe increases with longer service life
Good rapid crack propagation resistance
As steel frame and plastic will not reach the stress limit of rapid crack, there will be no rapid crack.
Corrosion resistance on both side
The inside and outside wall of pipe have same corrosion resistance performance. It can resist corrosion from many kinds of chemical stance and galvanic corrosion
It is stable to composite steel and plastic for steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe
Normally the composite surface between steel and plastic is in a continuously regular pattern. When operate long time, it will be delaminated easily under the effect of alternating stress. Whereas the steel framed PE pipe is mesh structure, in composite the steel and plastic, they will be interlaced together that keep their composition stable.
Lower coefficient of thermal expansion
The coefficient of thermal expansion of steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe is 35.4~35.9x10-6 (1/?), merely 3~3.4times than that of carbon steel pipe and 1/3-1/4 times that of PE pipe.
Impact resistance
Mesh steel skeleton is spiral winding structure. Its axial direction is flexible structure, which make impact resistance of steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe is better than other plastic pipe
Low flow resistance
No waxing, no scaling, the inner surface is very smooth, the roughness coefficient is only 0.009-0.0096, the transmission capacity is basically unchanged.
Sanitation and environmental-friendly
Non-toxic. The sanitation index is in compliance with GB9687«sanitation standard for PE applied in food packaging» and GB/T17219 «safety evaluation for drinking water distribution equipment and its protection material»
Abrasion resistance
Under the same conditions, the abrasion resistance ability of steel framed HDPE pipe is 1.6 times than that of steel pipe.
Easy installation
Two joint methods as electro fusion and flange joint, easy and flexible operation
Good quality of Trace-ability
The buried steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe can be found location through magnetic survey method because of its steel skeleton, so that it can avoid destruction caused by other evacuation works.
Long service life, low comprehensive cost
The service life is over 50years. Within the service life of pipelines, the comprehensive cost is low.

PRODUCTION TECHNIQUE PROCEDURE
The manufacturing procedure of steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe is that welded steel mesh as skeleton composited with extruding plastic simultaneously at set molding machine. What is mean that by high grade low carbon steel wire as reinforcement skeleton and PE as basis, welds the steel wire into mesh structure through make-up machine, then it compositely extruded with melted PE on head of compound machine and continuously composite to its shape on production, after the process of cooling, traction, cutting and sealing. It finally becomes end product of straight pipe.

PIPE JOINTS
Steel framed polyethylene plastic learns and absorbs the mature joint technique and experience from traditional plastic pipe and steel pipe. It has three joint methods: electro-fusion (EF) Sleeve Connection, Electro-fusion (EF) Belt Connection, and Flange Connection. Steel framed polyethylene plastic pipe use flange joint in connecting other steel or PE pipe, valve and gauge.

By the joint methods of electro fusion or flange, the tensile strength and burst strength of the pipe joint is higher than pipe itself.
